SNAP-LCE
The Opto22 SNAP-LCE is a stand alone controller which provides master control logic for multiple SNAP Ethernet I/O
units, centralized data collection and transfer, HMI interfacing, and Ethernet communications. This controller is the
updated and much lower cost version of the SNAP-LCM4. The LCE runs the ioProject family of software (ioControl,
ioDisplay, etc.) and is capable of running 16 flowcharts simultaneously.
Communications. A variety of communications options provide great flexibility. The Ethernet based communication
allows connection of the Controller to existing Ethernet networks, other SNAP Ethernet components, or direct to a PC.
Alternatively, communication can be by modem using Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) or serial RS-232. Options are
available for establishing wireless Ethernet connections. Supported communications protocols include TCP/IP,
SNMP, SMTP, FTP, ModBus/TCP, OPC, IEEE 1394 based memory map, and others.
