SNAP B/M Series Racks
SNAP B and M series racks provide mounting for Brains (some Controllers) and I/O Modules. Module capacity ranges
from 4 to 16 with each module having 2 to 4 channels (I/O points) depending on type. In addition to the standard
racks in which the I/O wiring is terminated on the modules, MC (suffix on the model number) racks offer a terminal
strip for field wiring common connections such as loop power distribution. MC-P racks offer the same terminal strips
with removable plug connectors for easy maintenance. All racks offer panel mounting and optional DIN-rail mounting.
Power is supplied by a 5vdc power supply such as the SNAP-PS5. Modules snap into position on a locking rail for
secure attachment while still allowing quick and easy removal.
Compatibility. B-series racks are designed to work with SNAP Ultimate I/O, SNAP Ethernet I/O, and SNAP Simple I/O.
M-series racks are compatible with the SNAP-UP1-M64 Ultimate Brain and the SNAP-ENET-S64 Simple I/O Brain.
B-Series. B-series racks are designed to work with SNAP Ultimate I/O, SNAP Ethernet I/O, and SNAP Simple I/O and
can accomodate 4, 8, 12, or 16 modules. Analog and serial modules can be placed in any position on the rack.
Digital modules are limited to the first eight slots which allows for 32 channels of digital I/O.
M-Series. M-series racks are compatible with the SNAP-UP1-M64 Ultimate Brain and the SNAP-ENET-S64 Simple
I/O Brain. As with the B-series racks, analog and serial modules can be placed in any position on the rack. Differing
from the B-series, digital modules can also be placed in any position on the rack.
